HAZRAT MOHAMMAD ABDUL QADEER
Hazrat Mohammad Abdul Qadeer Siddiqi Qaadri, Hasrat (1871-1962)
The Ocean of Knowledge (Bahr Ul Uloom) Hazrat Siddiqui (r) was one of the greatest Shaikh of our time. He was the direct descendant of Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiqu (RU).
In twenty eighth generation, his genealogical lineage meets with Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique (RU) from father's side; and in thirty second generation with Hazrat Imam Hussain (RU) from the mother's side. This way he was Siddiqui Al-Hussaini.
At the age of 8, Hazrat did Hajj along with his parents and maternal uncle Khawja Mahbooballa (r) who later became his Shaikh.
His mother died in the year 1887 and father died in 1911. In 1887 he received Khilafat from his Shaikh at the age of 16 years.
He completed the degrees of Maulvi Fazil in Arabic and Munshi Fazil in Persian from Punjab University and received gold medals for securing top rank.
He taught briefly at Darul-Uloom College, Hyderabad which was first affiliated to Punjab University and later expanded into an independent University, named Osmania University. After the establishment of Osmania University, Hazrat became full Professor and Head of the Department of Theology. In this capacity he served Osmania University for over 20 years and later retired in 1932, after eleven years extension in service for his outstanding professorial record.
In 1924 he went for Hajj for the second time. During this travel he visited Syria, Iraq, Palestine and Western Saudi Arabia (Hijaz). In 1932 he did Hajj for the third time.
After his retirement in 1932, he continued teaching, Quran, Hadith, Fiqh and Islaimc theology to thousands of people who used to come to his residence located at Malakpet area in Hyderabad city.
Sheikh Mohammed Abdul Qadeer Siddique (r) was indeed the living phenomenon of a Perfect Human Being (Insan-e-Kamil) and a person of obligatory proximity (Qurb-e-Fraraa'ez) with Allah (SWT). He had distinction in Prophet’s (SAWS) subordination and enthroned with the legacy of unveiling (Kashf) and immanence. The people who were close to him will testify that he was at the helm of the spiritual hierarchy during his life time. Detailed account of his Life history, proficiency in religious subjects and his service to the people in purification of hearts and reformation of their Anima (Tazkia Nafs) will be provided separately. In a nutshell he belonged to the family of great scholars of Islam of all time.

On March 24, 1962 (17 Shawwal, 1381 H), Hazrat Siddiqui (r) passed away at the age of 91 years. His funeral procession was attended by thousands of his mureedeen and well wishers.
He was buried at Siddique Gulshan in Bahadurpura area in Hyderabad. A massive tomb is under construction over his Dargah. His Urs is celebrated between 16-18 Shawwal each year.

Hazrat Mohammad Abdur Rahim Siddiqui (r) (1887-1968) - He was the first successor and (Ja-i Nashin) of the Shaikh during 1962 - 1968.
Hazrat Mohammad Abu Turab Ali Siddiqui (r) (1905-1988) - He was second successor and (Ja-i Nashin) of the Shaikh during 1968 - 1988.
Hazrat Abul Qasim Mohammad Siddiqui (r) (1908-1989) - He was the third Successor and ( Ja-i Nashin ) of the Shaikh during 1988-1989.
Hazrat Hussain Shujauddin Siddiqui (r) (1909-1998) - He was the fourth Successor and ( Ja-i Nashin ) of the Shaikh during 1989 - 1998.
Hazrat Ghouse Muhiuddin Siddiqui (r) (1935-2011) - He was the fifth Successor and ( Ja-i Nashin ) of the Shaikh during 1998 - 2011.
Hazrat Siddiqui (r) has written many books in Urdu, Persian and Arabic apart from "Siddiqui's Exegesis" (Translation and commentary) of the Holy Quran in Urdu.
The detailed biography of Hazrat Siddiqui (r) (over 600 pages) in Urdu, titled "Abdullah" has been written by Maulvi Mohammad Anwaruddin Siddiqui, who was his grand son and Khalifa. This biography has been published by Hasrat Academy Publications, Hyderabad in 2004.
Hazrat Siddiqui (r) was a famous poet in Urdu, Persian and Arabic. Compilation of his Urdu Poetry is titled "Kulliyat-e-Hasrat".
