[He is, who has sent down to you (O'Prophet - صلى الله عليه و آله وسلم) the Book (Quran).  Some verses of it are definite in meaning (Ayaat-e-Muhkamaat).  These form the mother of the Book (the basic there in) and the rest are figurative (metaphorical) (Ayaat - e - Mutashaabihaat).  But  they,  in whose minds there is a tendency to deviate from truth, take the metaphorical (verses in their literal / textual sense) craving discord, and craving to give them their own interpretation, although none knows the reality about them except Allah And those who make it right approach to knowledge could only say  'we believe therein all that is from our Lord'.  None can catch their significance except those gifted with insight." (Aal-e-Imran - 7).

(He is who has sent down to you (O'Prophet - صلى الله عليه و آله وسلم) the Book (Quran). None can catch their significance except those gifted with insight." (Aal-e-Imran - 7)". Then Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه و آله وسلم) said:  "If you see those who follow thereof, that is not entirely clear, then they are those whom Allah (سبحانہ و تعا لی) has named (who deviated from the truth by taking textual meanings of metaphorical expressions), so beware of them." (Bukhari, Volume 6, Book 60)
It is in Quran - كَانَ النَّاسُ أُمَّةً وَاحِدَةً فَبَعَثَ اللَّهُ النَّبِيِّينَ مُبَشِّرِينَ وَمُنذِرِينَ وَأَنزَلَ مَعَهُمُ الْكِتَابَ بِالْحَقِّ لِيَحْكُمَ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ فِيمَا اخْتَلَفُوا فِيهِ ۚ وَمَا اخْتَلَفَ فِيهِ إِلَّا الَّذِينَ أُوتُوهُ مِن بَعْدِ مَا جَاءَتْهُمُ الْبَيِّنَاتُ بَغْيًا بَيْنَهُمْ ۖ فَهَدَى اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لِمَا اخْتَلَفُوا فِيهِ مِنَ الْحَقِّ بِإِذْنِهِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ يَهْدِي مَن يَشَاءُ إِلَىٰ صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ  [ Mankind were one community, and Allah (سبحانہ و تعا لی) sent (to them) prophets as bearers of good tidings and as warnings, and revealed therewith, the Scripture with the truth,  that it might judge between mankind concerning that, wherein they differed. And only those to whom (the Scripture) was given differed concerning it, after clear proofs had come to them, through hatred of one another. And Allah (سبحانہ و تعا لی) by His Will guided those who believe in the truth of that, concerning which they differed.  Allah (سبحانہ و تعا لی) guides whom He will to the straight path.] (Al-Baqara – 213).
[There is no compulsion in Islam. The Truth and untruth is abundantly clear and distinct from each other.  And he who rejects false deities  and believes in Allah (سبحانہ و تعا لی),  has grasped a firm handhold which will never break.   Allah (سبحانہ و تعا لی) is Hearer, Knower.  Allah (سبحانہ و تعا لی) is the Protective Guardian of those who believe.   He brings them out of darkness into light ( النُّورِ ). As for those who disbelieve, their patrons (Sky Idol God) are false deities. They bring them out of light النُّورِ ) into darkness.  They (the Idol worshipers) are  the people of Fire.  They will abide therein (for ever).] (Al-Baqara – 256-57).

We seldom (rarely) discuss issues related with the beliefs of other faiths. We focus our attention on Islamic faith and try to pinpoint the shortcomings and confusions of various Muslim Groups so that they realize their mistakes and come back to the straight path of Islam.

As far as Unity among Muslims is concerned, we believe the only way is,  we should all come back to the straight path of Islam.  This will not only bond us together in this world but also ensure our salvation in Hereafter.  Read the following Articles to know about views on this issues.

[And hold fast, all of you together, to the Rope of Allah (سبحانہ و تعا لی), and be not divided among yourselves, and remember Allah's (سبحانہ و تعا لی) Favor on you, for you were enemies  to one another but He joined your hearts together, so that, by His Grace, you became  (real) brethren and you were on the brink of a pit of Fire, and He saved you from it. Thus Allah (سبحانہ و تعا لی) makes His verses, signs  clear to you, that you may be guided.] (Aal-e-Imran - 103)
