وَبَشَّرْنَاهُ بِإِسْحَاقَ نَبِيًّا مِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ [ (Earlier) We  had given him the good news of Ishaq (عليه السلام) a prophet, and one of the righteous. ]

From the above verses, we understand that Ishaq (عليه السلام) was the elder brother of Ismail (عليه السلام).  The news of the birth of Ishaq (عليه السلام) was given to Ibrahim (عليه السلام) earlier by the angels sent by Allah (عَزَّ وَجَلَّ).  Whereas, Ibrahim (عليه السلام) prayed for Ismail (عليه السلام) and his prayer was granted by Allah  (عَزَّ وَجَلَّ).

Description of the events of the lives of the Prophets are provided in Quran at different places as per the understanding requirement of  the people.  Thus, the sequence of events is not chronological in order because they are not stories.  People need to learn from these events to safeguard their Iman and respect these prophets.

Juz 23, As-Saaffaat, Verse 113

وَبَارَكْنَا عَلَيْهِ وَعَلَى إِسْحَاقَ وَمِنْ ذُرِّيَّتِهِمَا مُحْسِنٌ وَظَالِمٌ لِنَفْسِهِ مُبِينٌ [ We had blessed him with Ishaq (عليهم السلام) as well. Some of their descendants did good, while others clearly wronged themselves. ]

Juz 23, As-Saaffaat, Verse 114

وَلَقَدْ مَنَنَّا عَلَى مُوسَى وَهَارُونَ [ And We certainly showed favor to Musa and Haroon (عليهم السلام). ]

Juz 23, As-Saaffaat, Verse 115

وَنَجَّيْنَاهُمَا وَقَوْمَهُمَا مِنَ الْكَرْبِ الْعَظِيمِ [ We saved them and their people from the great distress; ]
