JUZ 27.1  QALA FAMA KHATBUKUM (قَالَ فَمَا خَطْبُكُمْ)

 

 

سورة الذاريات

THE WINNOWING WINDS
 

Adh-Dhaariyat| Sura # 51| 60 Verses | Makkan

 

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ 

In the name of Allah, the Most Compassionate and Most Merciful
 
 
Juz 27, Adh-Dhaariyat, Verse 031
 
قَالَ فَمَا خَطْبُكُمْ أَيُّهَا الْمُرْسَلُونَ [ (Ibrahim - عليه السلام) said, 'So what is your mission, O Messengers.' ]
 
Juz 27, Adh-Dhaariyat, Verse 032
 
قَالُوا إِنَّا أُرْسِلْنَا إِلَى قَوْمٍ مُجْرِمِينَ [ They (two angels) said, 'We have been sent to a wicked people,' ]

 

Juz 27, Adh-Dhaariyat, Verse 033
 
لِنُرْسِلَ عَلَيْهِمْ حِجَارَةً مِنْ طِينٍ [ to send down upon them (the punishment of) stones of baked clay,]

 

Juz 27, Adh-Dhaariyat, Verse 034
 
مُسَوَّمَةً عِنْدَ رَبِّكَ لِلْمُسْرِفِينَ [ marked by your Lord for the transgressors.' ]
 
There was rain of stones on the people of Loot (عليه السلام) for their evil deed (sodomy) and every stone was marked at whom it will fall to kill him on the spot.

 

Juz 27, Adh-Dhaariyat, Verse 035
 
فَأَخْرَجْنَا مَنْ كَانَ فِيهَا مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ [ So We evacuated everyone who was a believer there, ]

 

Juz 27, Adh-Dhaariyat, Verse 036
 
فَمَا وَجَدْنَا فِيهَا غَيْرَ بَيْتٍ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ [ but found only one household of people (the house of Prophet Loot  عليه السلام) who submitted to Allah, ]

 

Juz 27, Adh-Dhaariyat, Verse 037
 
وَتَرَكْنَا فِيهَا آَيَةً لِلَّذِينَ يَخَافُونَ الْعَذَابَ الْأَلِيمَ [ and left the town to be a sign for those who fear the painful punishment (of Allah). ]

 

Juz 27, Adh-Dhaariyat, Verse 038
 
وَفِي مُوسَى إِذْ أَرْسَلْنَاهُ إِلَى فِرْعَوْنَ بِسُلْطَانٍ مُبِينٍ [ And in (the story of) Musa (عليه السلام) (was another lesson), when We sent him to Pharaoh with compelling proof, ]

 

Juz 27, Adh-Dhaariyat, Verse 039
 
فَتَوَلَّى بِرُكْنِهِ وَقَالَ سَاحِرٌ أَوْ مَجْنُونٌ [ But (Pharaoh) turned away in the pride of power and might, and said, '(this Apostle is) a sorcerer or a fanatic.' ]

 

Juz 27, Adh-Dhaariyat, Verse 040
 
فَأَخَذْنَاهُ وَجُنُودَهُ فَنَبَذْنَاهُمْ فِي الْيَمِّ وَهُوَ مُلِيمٌ [ Therefore, We grabbed him and his armies and dumped them into the sea; he was damned. ]
 
 
Juz 27, Adh-Dhaariyat, Verse 041
 
وَفِي عَادٍ إِذْ أَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمُ الرِّيحَ الْعَقِيمَ [ And in (the story of) A'ad (was a sign), when We sent against them the devastating wind. ]
 

 

Juz 27, Adh-Dhaariyat, Verse 042
 
مَا تَذَرُ مِنْ شَيْءٍ أَتَتْ عَلَيْهِ إِلَّا جَعَلَتْهُ كَالرَّمِيمِ [ It spared nothing, it came upon,  that it did not reduce to ashes. ]

 

Juz 27, Adh-Dhaariyat, Verse 043
 
وَفِي ثَمُودَ إِذْ قِيلَ لَهُمْ تَمَتَّعُوا حَتَّى حِينٍ [ In (the punishment of) the people of Thamud, (there are signs)! They were told, 'Enjoy yourself for a while.' ]

 

Juz 27, Adh-Dhaariyat, Verse 044
 
فَعَتَوْا عَنْ أَمْرِ رَبِّهِمْ فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ الصَّاعِقَةُ وَهُمْ يَنْظُرُونَ [ But they disobeyed the command of their Lord with arrogance; so the awful shreik overtook them while they were looking.' ]

 

Juz 27, Adh-Dhaariyat, Verse 045
 
فَمَا اسْتَطَاعُوا مِنْ قِيَامٍ وَمَا كَانُوا مُنْتَصِرِينَ [ So neither they could stand up on their feet nor could they defend themselves. ]

 

Juz 27, Adh-Dhaariyat, Verse 046
 
وَقَوْمَ نُوحٍ مِنْ قَبْلُ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا قَوْمًا فَاسِقِينَ [ And We destroyed the people of Nooh (عليه السلام) before them,  because they too were transgressors. ]

 

Juz 27, Adh-Dhaariyat, Verse 047
 
وَالسَّمَاءَ بَنَيْنَاهَا بِأَيْدٍ وَإِنَّا لَمُوسِعُونَ [ With Our power, We brought into being the Universe. And indeed, We expand it (steadily). ]

 

Juz 27, Adh-Dhaariyat, Verse 048
 
وَالْأَرْضَ فَرَشْنَاهَا فَنِعْمَ الْمَاهِدُونَ [ As for the earth, We spread it out. How superbly did We spread it out! ]

 

Juz 27, Adh-Dhaariyat, Verse 049
 
وَمِنْ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ خَلَقْنَا زَوْجَيْنِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُونَ [ And (know that) all things We have created in pairs, so that you may reflect and be mindful. ]

 

Juz 27, Adh-Dhaariyat, Verse 050
 
فَفِرُّوا إِلَى اللَّهِ إِنِّي لَكُمْ مِنْهُ نَذِيرٌ مُبِينٌ [ (O Prophet  ﷺ), say to mankind,  'Rush towards Allah, indeed, I am assigned by Him as a manifest Warner to you all.]

 

Juz 27, Adh-Dhaariyat, Verse 051
 
وَلَا تَجْعَلُوا مَعَ اللَّهِ إِلَهًا آَخَرَ إِنِّي لَكُمْ مِنْهُ نَذِيرٌ مُبِينٌ [ And (tell them O' people) do not set up another god with Allah.  I am truly sent by Him with a clear warning to you.' ]

 

Juz 27, Adh-Dhaariyat, Verse 052
 
كَذَلِكَ مَا أَتَى الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ مِنْ رَسُولٍ إِلَّا قَالُوا سَاحِرٌ أَوْ مَجْنُونٌ [ Similarly, no Apostle came to the people who lived before them (Makkan polytheists) but they said of him (in like manner); 'A sorcerer or a mad man.' ]

 

Juz 27, Adh-Dhaariyat, Verse 053
 
أَتَوَاصَوْا بِهِ بَلْ هُمْ قَوْمٌ طَاغُونَ [ Is this the legacy they have passed down from (generation) one to the other? In fact, they are a rebellious people.]

 

Juz 27, Adh-Dhaariyat, Verse 054
 
فَتَوَلَّ عَنْهُمْ فَمَا أَنْتَ بِمَلُومٍ [ So, turn away (O' Prophet ﷺ) from them (Makkan polytheists), you are no more responsible (as you have conveyed the message to them clearly). ]

 

Juz 27, Adh-Dhaariyat, Verse 055
 
وَذَكِّرْ فَإِنَّ الذِّكْرَى تَنْفَعُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ [ And keep on reminding (the people who believe), it is good for those who believe to be reminded (about good deeds). ]

 

Juz 27, Adh-Dhaariyat, Verse 056
 
وَمَا خَلَقْتُ الْجِنَّ وَالْإِنْسَ إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُونِ [ I have not created the jinns and human beings except to worship Me. ]

 

Juz 27, Adh-Dhaariyat, Verse 057
 
مَا أُرِيدُ مِنْهُمْ مِنْ رِزْقٍ وَمَا أُرِيدُ أَنْ يُطْعِمُونِ [ (And) I do not want from them any provision, nor do I want them to feed Me. ]

 

Juz 27, Adh-Dhaariyat, Verse 058
 
إِنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الرَّزَّاقُ ذُو الْقُوَّةِ الْمَتِينُ [ Indeed, the provider of sustenance (for all beings) is Allah, the One with absolute Power and  Might. ]

 

Juz 27, Adh-Dhaariyat, Verse 059
 
فَإِنَّ لِلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا ذَنُوبًا مِثْلَ ذَنُوبِ أَصْحَابِهِمْ فَلَا يَسْتَعْجِلُونِ [ The wrongdoers (Makkan polytheists) will certainly have a share (of the torment) like that of their predecessors. So do not let them ask Me to hasten (it). ]

 

Juz 27, Adh-Dhaariyat, Verse 060
 
فَوَيْلٌ لِلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِنْ يَوْمِهِمُ الَّذِي يُوعَدُونَ  [ Woe then to the disbelievers, on that Day with which they are being warned. ]
