JUZ 29.6  TABARAKALLATHI (تَبَارَكَ الَّذِي)

 

 

سورة المعارج

THE ASCENDING STAIRWAYS
 

Al-Ma'aarij| Sura # 70| 44 Verses | Makkan

 

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ 

In the name of Allah, the Most Compassionate and Most Merciful

 

 

Juz 29, Al-Ma'aarij, Verse 001
 
سَأَلَ سَائِلٌ بِعَذَابٍ وَاقِعٍ [ A questioner asked you about the punishment which is bound to happen,  ]

 

Juz 29, Al-Ma'aarij, Verse 002
 
لِلْكَافِرينَ لَيْسَ لَهُ دَافِعٌ [ to the disbelievers, none can avert,  ]

 

Juz 29, Al-Ma'aarij, Verse 003
 
مِنَ اللَّهِ ذِي الْمَعَارِجِ  [ from Allah, the Lord of pathways of (heavenly) ascent,  ]

 

Juz 29, Al-Ma'aarij, Verse 004
 
تَعْرُجُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ وَالرُّوحُ إِلَيْهِ فِي يَوْمٍ كَانَ مِقْدَارُهُ خَمْسِينَ أَلْفَ سَنَةٍ  [ by which the angels and the Spirit (Jibreel  عليه السلام) ascend to Him, on a Day whose length is fifty thousand years.  ]

 

Juz 29, Al-Ma'aarij, Verse 005
 
فَاصْبِرْ صَبْرًا جَمِيلًا [ So endure (the denial, O Prophet  ﷺ),  with gracious patience.   ]

 

Juz 29, Al-Ma'aarij, Verse 006
 
إِنَّهُمْ يَرَوْنَهُ بَعِيدًا [ Surely! They see it (the Day of judgment) to be far off; ]

 

Juz 29, Al-Ma'aarij, Verse 007
 
وَنَرَاهُ قَرِيبًا [ But we see it quiet near. ]
 
 
Juz 29, Al-Ma'aarij, Verse 008
 
يَوْمَ تَكُونُ السَّمَاءُ كَالْمُهْلِ [ On the Day the sky will be like molten brass, ]

 

Juz 29, Al-Ma'aarij, Verse 009
 
وَتَكُونُ الْجِبَالُ كَالْعِهْنِ [ and the mountains like tufts of wool; ]

 

Juz 29, Al-Ma'aarij, Verse 010
 
وَلَا يَسْأَلُ حَمِيمٌ حَمِيمًا [ and no friend will ask about a friend, ]

 

Juz 29, Al-Ma'aarij, Verse 011
 
يُبَصَّرُونَهُمْ يَوَدُّ الْمُجْرِمُ لَوْ يَفْتَدِي مِنْ عَذَابِ يَوْمِئِذٍ بِبَنِيهِ [ although, they would see each other.  The criminal, that day, would like to escape punishment by offering his own son as ransom, ]

 

Juz 29, Al-Ma'aarij, Verse 012
 
وَصَاحِبَتِهِ وَأَخِيهِ [ and his wife and his brother, ]

 

Juz 29, Al-Ma'aarij, Verse 013
 
وَفَصِيلَتِهِ الَّتِي تُؤْوِيهِ [his relatives who gave him shelter, ]

 

Juz 29, Al-Ma'aarij, Verse 014
 
وَمَنْ فِي الْأَرْضِ جَمِيعًا ثُمَّ يُنْجِيهِ [and everyone on earth, if that could save him. ]

 

Juz 29, Al-Ma'aarij, Verse 015
 
كَلَّا إِنَّهَا لَظَى   [ But no! There will certainly be a raging Flame,]

 

Juz 29, Al-Ma'aarij, Verse 016
 
نَزَّاعَةً لِلشَّوَى  [ that  will scald away the scalps (of the unbelievers).]

 

Juz 29, Al-Ma'aarij, Verse 017
 
تَدْعُوا مَنْ أَدْبَرَ وَتَوَلَّى  [ It will summon (by name), all those who turned their backs and ran away (from the truth), ]

 

Juz 29, Al-Ma'aarij, Verse 018
 
وَجَمَعَ فَأَوْعَى  [ who collected (wealth) but kept it hidden (from spending in the cause of Allah). ]

 

Juz 29, Al-Ma'aarij, Verse 019
 
إِنَّ الْإِنْسَانَ خُلِقَ هَلُوعًا  [ Surely, human has been created very impatient, ]

 

Juz 29, Al-Ma'aarij, Verse 020
 
إِذَا مَسَّهُ الشَّرُّ جَزُوعًا  [ when the evil touches him, he is distressed, ]

 

Juz 29, Al-Ma'aarij, Verse 021
 
وَإِذَا مَسَّهُ الْخَيْرُ مَنُوعًا [ but when good (fortune) touches him, he is stingy;]

 

Juz 29, Al-Ma'aarij, Verse 022
 
إِلَّا الْمُصَلِّينَ [ with the exception of those who offer Salah (prayer), ]
