Ir is an inevitable event which will occur at an appointed time. There is no need to have a doubt over it by the disbelievers and their arguments in this context are pointless. The disbelievers are reminded about the mammoth events that are taking place in their lives on day to day basis. With these in view, there is no basis whatsoever to disbelieve about the Day of Judgment.Juz 30, An-Naba, Verse 006أَلَمْ نَجْعَلِ الْأَرْضَ مِهَادًا [ Is it not true that We have spread the earth like a bed, ]Juz 30, An-Naba, Verse 007وَالْجِبَالَ أَوْتَادًا [ and the mountains as the pegs, ]Juz 30, An-Naba, Verse 008وَخَلَقْنَاكُمْ أَزْوَاجًا [ and created you in pairs, ]Juz 30, An-Naba, Verse 009وَجَعَلْنَا نَوْمَكُمْ سُبَاتًا [ and made you sleep for rest, ]Juz 30, An-Naba, Verse 010وَجَعَلْنَا اللَّيْلَ لِبَاسًا [ and made the night as a cover (to relax), ]Juz 30, An-Naba, Verse 011وَجَعَلْنَا النَّهَارَ مَعَاشًا [ and made the day (to work) for livelihood. ]Juz 30, An-Naba, Verse 012وَبَنَيْنَا فَوْقَكُمْ سَبْعًا شِدَادًا [ And We built above you seven mighty (heavens), ]Juz 30, An-Naba, Verse 013وَجَعَلْنَا سِرَاجًا وَهَّاجًا [ And made (the sun) a glowing lamp? ]Juz 30, An-Naba, Verse 014وَأَنْزَلْنَا مِنَ الْمُعْصِرَاتِ مَاءً ثَجَّاجًا [ And We sent down plenty of water from the rain clouds, ]Juz 30, An-Naba, Verse 015لِنُخْرِجَ بِهِ حَبًّا وَنَبَاتًا [ to produce with it grain and vegetation, ]Juz 30, An-Naba, Verse 016وَجَنَّاتٍ أَلْفَافًا [ and dense gardens. ]Juz 30, An-Naba, Verse 017إِنَّ يَوْمَ الْفَصْلِ كَانَ مِيقَاتًا [ The Day of decision is already fixed. ]Juz 30, An-Naba, Verse 018يَوْمَ يُنْفَخُ فِي الصُّورِ فَتَأْتُونَ أَفْوَاجًا [ On that Day, the trumpet will be blown and you shall come forth in crowds. ]Juz 30, An-Naba, Verse 019وَفُتِحَتِ السَّمَاءُ فَكَانَتْ أَبْوَابًا [ The sky shall be opened as if there were doors (in them). ]Juz 30, An-Naba, Verse 020وَسُيِّرَتِ الْجِبَالُ فَكَانَتْ سَرَابًا [ And the mountains will be blown becoming (like) a mirage. ]Juz 30, An-Naba, Verse 021إِنَّ جَهَنَّمَ كَانَتْ مِرْصَادًا [ (Know that) Hell has been lying in wait, ]Juz 30, An-Naba, Verse 022لِلطَّاغِينَ مَآَبًا [ as a home for the transgressors, ]Juz 30, An-Naba, Verse 023لَابِثِينَ فِيهَا أَحْقَابًا [ to stay in there for a long, long time. ]There are three verses in Quran about the dwellers of Hell, as follows. It is in Quran - إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَعَنَ الْكَافِرِينَ وَأَعَدَّ لَهُمْ سَعِيرًا - خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا أَبَدًا [ Indeed, Allah's curse is on the disbelievers and He has prepared for them a Blaze (of Hell) where they will live for ever]. (Al-Ahzab - 64)It is in Quran - وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا وَكَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِنَا أُولَـٰئِكَ أَصْحَابُ النَّارِ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا ۖ وَبِئْسَ الْمَصِيرُ [ But the ones who disbelieved and denied Our verses, those are the companions of the Fire, abiding therein. And (what a) wretched is that destination.] (At-Taghaabun - 10)It is in Quran - إِنَّ جَهَنَّمَ كَانَتْ مِرْصَادًا - لِلطَّاغِينَ مَآَبًا - لَابِثِينَ فِيهَا أَحْقَابًا [ (Know that) Hell has been lying in wait, as a home for the transgressors, to stay therein for a long long time. ] (An-Naba - 21-23)It is part of our Iman that the dwellers of Hell and Paradise will remain there for ever. There is no concept of death in Paradise or in Hell. However, some sinners will be punished in Hell for sometime and later, from Prophet Mohammad's (صلى الله عليه و آله وسلم) mediation, they will be taken out of Hell and transferred to Paradise. Anyone who has an atom's weight of Iman in his heart will be taken out of Hell and transferred to Paradise. After that the doors of the Paradise and Hell will be closed and the dwellers in both Hell and Paradise are separated from each other for ever. There are differences of opinion among scholars on the punishment of the dwellers of Hell, as follows:(i) Some say that when there is no Iman in heart, there is no scope of respite in the punishment of the Dwellers of Hell. It is eternal, continuous and unending.(ii) In some scholars' opinion, after a long long time of punishment of the dwellers of Hell, Allah's Mercy will overcome His rage and their covenant to their Lord will help them and they will be pardoned by the Most Merciful Allah (عَزَّ وَجَلَّ). The Fire of the Hell will get extinguished and some kind of relief and comfort will be provided to them in Hell itself, but they will not be transferred to Paradise. It is in Hadith - It is reported on the authority of Abu Huraira (رضئ اللہ تعالی عنہ) that the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه و آله وسلم) said, when Allah completed the creation, he wrote in his book with him upon the throne, 'Verily, My Mercy prevails over my Wrath. (Bukhari, Muslim)It is in Quran - وَإِذْ أَخَذَ رَبُّكَ مِنْ بَنِي آَدَمَ مِنْ ظُهُورِهِمْ ذُرِّيَّتَهُمْ وَأَشْهَدَهُمْ عَلَى أَنْفُسِهِمْ أَلَسْتُ بِرَبِّكُمْ قَالُوا بَلَى شَهِدْنَا أَنْ تَقُولُوا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ إِنَّا كُنَّا عَنْ هَذَا غَافِلِينَ [ And (mention) when your Lord took from the children of Adam (عليه السلام), from their loins, their descendants and made them testify of themselves, 'Am I not your Lord?' They said, 'Yes, we have testified.' Lest you would say on the day of Resurrection, 'Indeed, we were unaware of it.' ] (Al-A'raaf - 172)
Juz 30, An-Naba, Verse 024لَا يَذُوقُونَ فِيهَا بَرْدًا وَلَا شَرَابًا [ (The dwellers of Hell will) find neither cool nor any thing to drink, ]Juz 30, An-Naba, Verse 025إِلَّا حَمِيمًا وَغَسَّاقًا [ except boiling water and (oozing) pus. ]Juz 30, An-Naba, Verse 026جَزَاءً وِفَاقًا [ (That is) an appropriate requital, ]Juz 30, An-Naba, Verse 027إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا لَا يَرْجُونَ حِسَابًا [ for they never expected to be accountable, ]Juz 30, An-Naba, Verse 028وَكَذَّبُوا بِآَيَاتِنَا كِذَّابًا [ and utterly rejected Our verses. ]Juz 30, An-Naba, Verse 029وَكُلَّ شَيْءٍ أَحْصَيْنَاهُ كِتَابًا [ We have recorded every single thing in a book! ]Juz 30, An-Naba, Verse 030فَذُوقُوا فَلَنْ نَزِيدَكُمْ إِلَّا عَذَابًا [ (It will be said) : 'So you taste (the results of your evil actions). We shall give you nothing but increase in punishment.']
To seek the truth about our Creator, know about Him and follow His commandments is part of the nature of human beings. A person who follows Taghut (Devils) and evil desires, is indeed going against his own nature. If you go against your own nature, surely you will suffers in this world and in Hereafter. It is important that we realize this fact.
Who has instilled this nature in us? It is Allah (عَزَّ وَجَلَّ), our Creator who has instilled in us the drive to seek truth.
It is in Quran - وَإِذْ أَخَذَ رَبُّكَ مِنْ بَنِي آَدَمَ مِنْ ظُهُورِهِمْ ذُرِّيَّتَهُمْ وَأَشْهَدَهُمْ عَلَى أَنْفُسِهِمْ أَلَسْتُ بِرَبِّكُمْ قَالُوا بَلَى شَهِدْنَا أَنْ تَقُولُوا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ إِنَّا كُنَّا عَنْ هَذَا غَافِلِينَ [ And (mention) when your Lord took from the children of Adam (عليه السلام), from their loins, their descendants and made them testify of themselves, 'Am I not your Lord?' They said, 'Yes, we have testified.' Lest you would say on the day of Resurrection, 'Indeed, we were unaware of it.' ] (Al-A'raaf - 172)
Where was the above promise made? It was in Aalam-e-Mithaal. It is obvious from the above verse that it is part of our nature to seek the truth about our Creator and walk on His way. Why it is so? It is because, it has been instilled in our nature by Allah (عَزَّ وَجَلَّ).
How was it instilled in our nature?
We all existed in Allah's (عَزَّ وَجَلَّ) knowledge before our birth and it is there we have promised Him that we will walk on His way after our births. To assist us in following His path, Allah (عَزَّ وَجَلَّ) has sent many Prophets/Apostles who have guided us on His way.
[And We certainly sent into every nation an Apostle, (saying), 'Worship Allah and avoid Taghut' (devils). And among them were those whom Allah guided, and among them were those upon whom error was (deservedly) decreed. So proceed through the Earth and observe how was the end of the deniers (who followed Taghut). ] (An-Nahl - 36)
Every Prophet took solemn pledges from their followers individually and collectively on the instance of Allah (عَزَّ وَجَلَّ). Prophet Mohammad (صلى الله عليه و آله وسلم) also took collective and individual pledges from Sahabah.
Allah (عَزَّ وَجَلَّ) also took a collective pledge from all Prophets saying that, when Apostle Mohammad (صلى الله عليه و آله وسلم) arrives, they should believe in him and support him.
It is in Quran - وَإِذْ أَخَذَ اللَّهُ مِيثَاقَ النَّبِيِّينَ لَمَا آتَيْتُكُم مِّن كِتَابٍ وَحِكْمَةٍ ثُمَّ جَاءَكُمْ رَسُولٌ مُّصَدِّقٌ لِّمَا مَعَكُمْ لَتُؤْمِنُنَّ بِهِ وَلَتَنصُرُنَّهُ ۚ قَالَ أَأَقْرَرْتُمْ وَأَخَذْتُمْ عَلَىٰ ذَٰلِكُمْ إِصْرِي ۖ قَالُوا أَقْرَرْنَا ۚ قَالَ فَاشْهَدُوا وَأَنَا مَعَكُم مِّنَ الشَّاهِدِينَ [ Allah took a pledge from all prophets, saying, ‘If, after I have bestowed Scripture and wisdom upon you, an Apostle comes confirming what you have been given, you must believe in him and support him. Do you affirm this and accept My pledge as binding on you? They said, ‘We do.’ He said, ‘Then bear witness and I too will bear witness. ] (Aal-e-Imran - 81).
Where was the above promise made? It was in Aalam-e-Mithaal.
At the time of Me'araj, Prophet Mohammad (صلى الله عليه و آله وسلم) led all Prophets in two raka Salah. Where did it happen? It was carried out in the world of similitude (Aalam-e--Mithaal - عالمِ مثال).
In which world we are currently living? It is our physical world known as 'the world of manifestation (عالمِ شهاده). After our death, where are we transferred? We are transferred to 'the world of similitude', a part of this world is known as 'the world after death' (عالمِ برزخ).Juz 30, An-Naba, Verse 031إِنَّ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ مَفَازًا [ Surely, there will be success (award of Paradise) for the righteous, ]Juz 30, An-Naba, Verse 032حَدَائِقَ وَأَعْنَابًا [ orchards and grape gardens, ]Juz 30, An-Naba, Verse 033وَكَوَاعِبَ أَتْرَابًا [ splendid, well matched spouses, ]Juz 30, An-Naba, Verse 034وَكَأْسًا دِهَاقًا [ and full cups (of pure blissful drink). ]Juz 30, An-Naba, Verse 035لَا يَسْمَعُونَ فِيهَا لَغْوًا وَلَا كِذَّابًا [There, they will hear no gossip or lies. ]Juz 30, An-Naba, Verse 036جَزَاءً مِنْ رَبِّكَ عَطَاءً حِسَابًا [ (It is) a reward from your Lord and a gift beyond their account (of good deeds), ]Juz 30, An-Naba, Verse 037رَبِّ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا الرَّحْمَنِ لَا يَمْلِكُونَ مِنْهُ خِطَابًا [from the Most Compassionate, Who is the Lord of the heavens, the earth and all that lies between them; before Whom no one shall be able to speak. ]Juz 30, An-Naba, Verse 038يَوْمَ يَقُومُ الرُّوحُ وَالْمَلَائِكَةُ صَفًّا لَا يَتَكَلَّمُونَ إِلَّا مَنْ أَذِنَ لَهُ الرَّحْمَنُ وَقَالَ صَوَابًا [ On that Day, Jibreel (عليه السلام) and the angels will stand in rows; none will speak except the one to whom the Most Compassionate (Lord) will allow to speak, and he will speak what is right. ]Juz 30, An-Naba, Verse 039ذَلِكَ الْيَوْمُ الْحَقُّ فَمَنْ شَاءَ اتَّخَذَ إِلَى رَبِّهِ مَآَبًا [ That is (without doubt) the true Day. Let those who wish, seek a Way to their Lord (by obeying Him in this world). ]Juz 30, An-Naba, Verse 040إِنَّا أَنْذَرْنَاكُمْ عَذَابًا قَرِيبًا يَوْمَ يَنْظُرُ الْمَرْءُ مَا قَدَّمَتْ يَدَاهُ وَيَقُولُ الْكَافِرُ يَا لَيْتَنِي كُنْتُ تُرَابًا [ Surely, We have warned you of an imminent punishment, on the Day when people will see (the deeds) what their hands have sent forth, and the disbeliever will cry : 'Woe to me! Would that I were dust!' ]
