Juz 7, Al-Maidah, Verse 104وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ تَعَالَوْا إِلَى مَا أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ وَإِلَى الرَّسُولِ قَالُوا حَسْبُنَا مَا وَجَدْنَا عَلَيْهِ آَبَاءَنَا أَوَلَوْ كَانَ آَبَاؤُهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ شَيْئًا وَلَا يَهْتَدُونَ [ And when it is said to them, 'come to what Allah has revealed and to the Apostle (صلى الله عليه و آله وسلم),' they say, 'sufficient for us is that upon which we found our fathers.' even though their fathers had no knowledge or guidance. ]
Juz 7, Al-Maidah, Verse 105يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آَمَنُوا عَلَيْكُمْ أَنْفُسَكُمْ لَا يَضُرُّكُمْ مَنْ ضَلَّ إِذَا اهْتَدَيْتُمْ إِلَى اللَّهِ مَرْجِعُكُمْ جَمِيعًا فَيُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ [ O you who believe! take care of yourselves, If you follow the right path, those who have gone astray will not be able to do you harm. To Allah have all of you to return, when He will tell you what you were doing. ]
Juz 7, Al-Maidah, Verse 106يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آَمَنُوا شَهَادَةُ بَيْنِكُمْ إِذَا حَضَرَ أَحَدَكُمُ الْمَوْتُ حِينَ الْوَصِيَّةِ اثْنَانِ ذَوَا عَدْلٍ مِنْكُمْ أَوْ آَخَرَانِ مِنْ غَيْرِكُمْ إِنْ أَنْتُمْ ضَرَبْتُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ فَأَصَابَتْكُمْ مُصِيبَةُ الْمَوْتِ تَحْبِسُونَهُمَا مِنْ بَعْدِ الصَّلَاةِ فَيُقْسِمَانِ بِاللَّهِ إِنِ ارْتَبْتُمْ لَا نَشْتَرِي بِهِ ثَمَنًا وَلَوْ كَانَ ذَا قُرْبَى وَلَا نَكْتُمُ شَهَادَةَ اللَّهِ إِنَّا إِذًا لَمِنَ الْآَثِمِينَ [ O you who believe, let two honest men among you be witness when you dictate your last 'will' as (the hour of) death draws near; and if death approaches while you are on a journey, two men other than yours. Detain them after the prayer, and if you doubt their word, make them swear by Allah that : 'We shall not take a bribe even though it be offered by a near relative, nor hide the testimony of Allah, for then we shall surely be sinful.' ]
Everything that we own goes to our heirs after death except one third of our wealth which can be given to a non-heir. It is important that everyone of us leave our inheritance in such a way that the heirs do not get confused in its distribution. Thus, 'the will of inheritance' is an important document that should be prepared during the lifetime and placed at a safe place.
In the Tafseer of Surah al-Baqara and in An-Nisa, the issue of inheritance has been discussed in detail.
The above verse explains what a person should do if death approaches him and he has not already prepared his 'will'. That person should take two people from Muslims to tell them how to distribute his inheritance. These persons should be righteous and honest so that they don’t cheat the dying person with regards to his bequest.
In case death approaches when the person is traveling and he does not find Muslims, he can take two non-Muslims and hand over cash or belongings he had with him at that time to take them to his heirs and tell them how to distribute his inheritance. In this case, a situation may arise that the deceased family, upon receiving the belongings, suspect that a few items are missing or the witnesses are not telling the whole truth. In this scenario, the witnesses will be asked to stay and after the Salah, they will be asked to swear by God for their truthfulness. When the witnesses have taken their testimony to the truthfulness of their statement, they cannot be suspected or accused by the family members. The following two verses explains what happens if the two witnesses were found guilty of perjury.
Juz 7, Al-Maidah, Verse 107فَإِنْ عُثِرَ عَلَى أَنَّهُمَا اسْتَحَقَّا إِثْمًا فَآَخَرَانِ يَقُومَانِ مَقَامَهُمَا مِنَ الَّذِينَ اسْتَحَقَّ عَلَيْهِمُ الْأَوْلَيَانِ فَيُقْسِمَانِ بِاللَّهِ لَشَهَادَتُنَا أَحَقُّ مِنْ شَهَادَتِهِمَا وَمَا اعْتَدَيْنَا إِنَّا إِذًا لَمِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ [ But if it is found that those two were guilty of perjury, let two others stand in their place (who are) foremost (in claim) from those who have a lawful right. And let them swear by Allah, 'Our testimony is truer than their testimony, and we have not transgressed. Indeed, we would then be of the wrongdoers.' ]
Juz 7, Al-Maidah, Verse 108ذَلِكَ أَدْنَى أَنْ يَأْتُوا بِالشَّهَادَةِ عَلَى وَجْهِهَا أَوْ يَخَافُوا أَنْ تُرَدَّ أَيْمَانٌ بَعْدَ أَيْمَانِهِمْ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَاسْمَعُوا وَاللَّهُ لَا يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الْفَاسِقِينَ [ That is more likely that they will give testimony according to its (true) objective, or (at least) they would fear that (other) oaths might be taken after their oaths. And fear Allah and listen; and Allah does not guide defiantly disobedient people. ]
Juz 7, Al-Maidah, Verse 109
يَوْمَ يَجْمَعُ اللَّهُ الرُّسُلَ فَيَقُولُ مَاذَا أُجِبْتُمْ قَالُوا لَا عِلْمَ لَنَا إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ عَلَّامُ الْغُيُوبِ [ On that day when Allah will gather all the Apostles and say, 'What response did you get (from your people)? They will submit, 'We do not have any knowledge; indeed it is only You, Who knows all that is hidden.' ]
On the day of judgement all human beings will be resurrected and before individual questioning, Allah (عَزَّ وَجَلَّ) will ask the Apostles how their nations responded to their call.
It is in Quran - فَلَنَسْأَلَنَّ الَّذِينَ أُرْسِلَ إِلَيْهِمْ وَلَنَسْأَلَنَّ الْمُرْسَلِينَ [ Then We will surely question those to whom the message was sent, and We will surely question the Apostles.] (Al-Araf - 6)
The Apostles will submit, 'We do not have any knowledge; indeed it is only You, Who knows all that is is hidden.
Juz 7, Al-Maidah, Verse 110إِذْ قَالَ اللَّهُ يَا عِيسَى ابْنَ مَرْيَمَ اذْكُرْ نِعْمَتِي عَلَيْكَ وَعَلى وَالِدَتِكَ إِذْ أَيَّدْتُكَ بِرُوحِ الْقُدُسِ تُكَلِّمُ النَّاسَ فِي الْمَهْدِ وَكَهْلًا وَإِذْ عَلَّمْتُكَ الْكِتَابَ وَالْحِكْمَةَ وَالتَّوْرَاةَ وَالْإِنْجِيلَ وَإِذْ تَخْلُقُ مِنَ الطِّينِ كَهَيْئَةِ الطَّيْرِ بِإِذْنِي فَتَنْفُخُ فِيهَا فَتَكُونُ طَيْرًا بِإِذْنِي وَتُبْرِئُ الْأَكْمَهَ وَالْأَبْرَصَ بِإِذْنِي وَإِذْ تُخْرِجُ الْمَوْتَى بِإِذْنِي وَإِذْ كَفَفْتُ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ عَنْكَ إِذْ جِئْتَهُمْ بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ فَقَالَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِنْهُمْ إِنْ هَذَا إِلَّا سِحْرٌ مُبِينٌ [ When Allah will say, "O' Isa Ibn Maryam (عليه السلام), remember My favor upon you and upon your mother when I supported you with the holy Spirit (Jibreel عليه السلام) and you spoke to the people in the cradle and in maturity; and (remember) when I taught you the book and wisdom and the Taurait (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel); and when you designed from clay (what was) like the form of a bird with My permission, then you breathed into it, and it became a flying bird with My permission; and you healed the blind and the leper with My permission; and when you made alive the dead with My permission; and when I restrained the children of Israel from (harming) you when you came to them with clear proofs and those who disbelieved among them said, 'this is not but an obvious magic.' ]
In the above verse, Allah (عَزَّ وَجَلَّ) details the dialogue He will have with Isa (عليه السلام) on the day of Judgment. The dialogue confirms that Isa (عليه السلام) is indeed the Apostle of Allah and not the son of God as wrongfully believed by the Christians.
Allah (عَزَّ وَجَلَّ) mentions the miracles of Isa (عليه السلام). His birth was a miracle as he was created without the male intervention. His mother was chosen one who had Prophet Zakaraiyya (عليه السلام) as her teacher. She was nourished with the food from Heaven. And Jibreel (عليه السلام) spoke with her.
Isa (عليه السلام) spoke with people in his cradle and also when he attained maturity. He was taught Taurat and Injeel and was blessed with wisdom. He was given exclusive miracles. He would sculpt a bird with clay and breathe into it. It would then become a real bird and fly. He would heal the blind and lepers. He would also bring back the dead from their graves. When Jews plotted to kill him, Allah (عَزَّ وَجَلَّ) saved him by making the situation doubtful to them. A man having the semblance of Isa (عليه السلام) was crucified while he was lifted by Allah (عَزَّ وَجَلَّ) alive to the heavens.
Juz 7, Al-Maidah, Verse 111
وَإِذْ أَوْحَيْتُ إِلَى الْحَوَارِيِّينَ أَنْ آَمِنُوا بِي وَبِرَسُولِي قَالُوا آَمَنَّا وَاشْهَدْ بِأَنَّنَا مُسْلِمُونَ [ And when I inspired into the hearts of the disciples that, ‘Believe in Me and in My Apostle (Isa - عليه السلام)’; they said, ‘We accept faith, and be witness that we are Muslims.' ]
Juz 7, Al-Maidah, Verse 112إِذْ قَالَ الْحَوَارِيُّونَ يَا عِيسَى ابْنَ مَرْيَمَ هَلْ يَسْتَطِيعُ رَبُّكَ أَنْ يُنَزِّلَ عَلَيْنَا مَائِدَةً مِنَ السَّمَاءِ قَالَ اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ مُؤْمِنِينَ [ When the disciples said : O' Isa Ibn Maryam (عليه السلام), could your Lord send down for us a table spread with food? Provide us sustenance, for You are the Best Provider Of Sustenance.' ]

He will submit, 'exalted You are. It is not proper for me to say something for which I do not have a right; if I had said that, then surely You know about it; You know what is in my heart, and I do not know what is in Your knowledge; indeed You only know all that is hidden.' ]
Juz 7, Al-Maidah, Verse 117مَا قُلْتُ لَهُمْ إِلَّا مَا أَمَرْتَنِي بِهِ أَنِ اعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ رَبِّي وَرَبَّكُمْ وَكُنْتُ عَلَيْهِمْ شَهِيدًا مَا دُمْتُ فِيهِمْ فَلَمَّا تَوَفَّيْتَنِي كُنْتَ أَنْتَ الرَّقِيبَ عَلَيْهِمْ وَأَنْتَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ شَهِيدٌ [ 'I have not told them except what You commanded me, that 'Worship Allah, Who is my Lord and is your Lord'; I was aware of them till I was among them; and when You raised me (alive over the skies), only You watched over them; and all things are evident to You.' ]
Juz 7, Al-Maidah, Verse 118إِنْ تُعَذِّبْهُمْ فَإِنَّهُمْ عِبَادُكَ وَإِنْ تَغْفِرْ لَهُمْ فَإِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ [ If You punish them, indeed they are Your servants; if You pardon them, indeed You are Almighty and All wise. ]
